I know...
Old news: The word is in, “No Check For You!” says the IRS. Oh well, I figured as much but you never know when they would make a mistake. I like how they call it “overpayment of taxes”. Like I would ever OVERPAY my taxes so they could keep it, ha! It is a nice feeling to be out from under their diabolical grip though after all these years. I suppose a party should be in order, maybe some dancing in the streets or at least on a table or…blowing some shit up. Yes, this was written in July and we did have some explosives.
I guess I never blog anymore. We have been so busy and honestly I am just never on my computer anymore for any length of time. My last excuse is I feel no one is really interested in what is going on in our little pathetic lives :P
Vicki & Matt came to town in July. It was great seeing them. One of the days they had organized a party at someone’s house so they could see everyone at the same time. That was a blast. A drum set in the basement meant Sky begging to play. 5 or 6 drummers at the party meant Sky got some instruction although he didn’t seem to need much. I got so many “Does he have his own drum kit?” questions then “Get him one, he’s a natural!” comments that it is now on our short list. A certain little birdy told me he and his fiancée are getting him one for Xmas so we’ll see. I agree he’s insane on them and seems to really know what he’s doing. Until then, he’ll tear it up on expert on Rock Band.
August has been really stressful and if someone would like to just drop us some money from the sky it would be much appreciated. I was hoping on another camping trip this year but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. Hanging out with Jeff & Dawn has saved our sanity and we both have been stretching our piercings. I am getting close to those cute rhinos!
FunkyB and his woman are getting married in a few weeks and John has somehow finagled his way into the wedding party…this should be interesting. They had us over to their new house last night for some BBQ action which was a lot of fun.
We are moving. Yep, getting out of the hood finally to a neighborhood where most of the people walking around are probably not carrying guns. I think we started a trend because 2 of our other neighbors are moving now too. I do hate moving but it is nice to do a little purging of crap we don’t need anymore.
