Um yeah...
My average killed us last week in league. We had to redeem ourselves. We both bowled great and won 2 games and the overall point.
We spent the weekend camping. It was too cold for the waterfall but we did a lot of hiking around. The only bothersome rain came the first night as we pretended to sleep (it was fucking cold and none of us slept well except Sky and the dog). Saturday turned out to be pretty nice weather and we got in a ride on the mountain bike trails. Mary Jo decided to go along but she was struggling. She said she had fun though. The only true casualty came when Mau went through the expert trail by himself after we were done and flipped over his handlebars. All the times we have gone through the trails and meet people on them, we are the only ones that look like we don’t belong on them and aren’t wearing helmets…I guess because we are stupid, especially when it’s wet and muddy which is every time. The kids always wear a helmet…we’re not that stupid. We were able to pack up in time to get one more ride through the trails before we left on Sunday. No one got hurt that time. Oh, no skunks this time either…just a raccoon that Kali chased up a tree.
Vicki was back in town for a few days so she stopped by Sunday night with her sister. Skylar was so happy to see them. It really was great and we had a lot of fun.
In the world of orthodontics I am now orange (it looks like a goldish-yellow though *shrugs*). The office added a new doctor and he had some different plans for me and my stubborn midline. He decided to have my top back molars bracketed finally because they are causing my midline to be wacky right now. He also told me to ditch the rubber bands (yay!) and the powerchains…I am back to plain old ligs. I actually like how the powerchains look more than single ones. I also got stainless steel wires for now. I don’t know what difference that makes but the assistant said they don’t use them often.
