He does lots of tricks!

We put Sky in dance classes. He’s doing a jazz class this year. I thought he might be intimidated being a beginner and the only boy in the class but he stepped in there and took control. He was the only one who could do the splits (comes from his extensive Kung Fu training) and he learned all the moves for the day in seconds. They are putting together a presentation for Xmas and he was the only one who looked like he knew what he was doing. My baby’s a natural dancer…well, duh! He had a lot of fun and looked very comfortable.

Skylar is finally on a real team in his bowling league. He was a one person team going against a 4 person team (although he actually won all 4 points, yeah he kicks ass) but the coordinator put him on a new team. He is holding this new team together too. He got a high handicap series last week, bowling all games over 100 with a 73 average. Today he pulled a 164 out of his ass. Unbelievable. He came off a spare with 4 strikes in a row (another personal best for him since his turkey). To show how bad his teammates are, Skylar’s insanely awesome score only gave them the win by 4 pins…that’s pretty bad. He’s getting more consistant lately, finally realizing after years of us yelling at him to “use the arrows” that maybe he should use the arrows. We bowled for fun Friday and he bowled a 136, which beat his daddy’s pathetic 118 *giggle*. I know the Pepsi tournament qualifier is coming up and this run of good scores will pull his average up and make it harder for him to qualify. We'll see though.

While on the topic of bowling, I have to mention my (drum roll please) 176 score from last week. It is my highest score ever, my first turkey at this bowling center and I’m pretty proud. Plus FunkyB told me when I bowled it, “You better blog this!”.
