A mystery liquid
Sky did really good at the Pepsi tournament. He bowled an 85, 91 and a 105 (he fouled the last shot otherwise he would have had a 111, his highest score yet). He bowled second best out of his division but there's another weekend of it so I don't know how he did overall yet. He had fun, got a patch and a ball towel so that's really what matters.
We got our points fixed in league so we are in 2nd place much to the dismay of the 1st place team who, within earshot of us, bitched about the fact that we were. I'm not sure why that guy cares considering he's in 1st and we aren't near getting ahead of his team yet. He's the ass though and as we got close to taking 2nd, we were prepared for some sort of opposition from him. We only won 1 point this week and lost last week but we won for several previous weeks...that's how we got in 2nd place. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out but possibly someone smarter than this guy. If (in his too tight wifebeater and a name like "Ernie") he is too good and competitive to be playing in this crappy little fun league, then why is he? Bowling for a $100 gift certificate should be so beneath him. Keith & Mary Jo are inching up too so that should really piss him off.
Last night I was getting into bed. As I stretched my feet out under the covers it felt really cold. I left my feet there for a second until I realized it was wet. I jumped up yelling "WTF?" and Mau & I tried to figure out what this mystery liquid might be. My first assumption would be cat pee but it was too large of an area. My second assumption would be dog pee but Kali had been outside multiple times during the course of the evening and peeing on the bed isn't her M.O. It even seemed like too large of an area to be from her too. It hasn't rained so it's not a roof leak, nor is the roof above the bedroom. The turntable room is with no plumbing over that area either. Hmmm. Sniffing it out would have given clues but I'm completely congested due to a severe cold and air is not allowed into my nasal cavity at this time. Mau's sniffer isn't quite as good as mine but he assured me it did not smell like any sort of animal pee. The mattress was scrubbed, Fabreezed and flipped and we dug through the basement for another comforter to use temporarily. All this at 3:30am. Fun!
